Memorial Day

JB is now a triathlete! He competed in his first triathlon with some friends in Costa Mesa. He hadn't done any training for a couple months but he did it any, and he did great! Sawyer and I went along to cheer him on of course! We counted his laps in his swim and then drove to where the bike end and run was. JB did great! After he was even up for a trip to Ikea, followed by a HSM party at the Mettlers!

Sawyer got to hang out with his Auntie, and cousin Angie this weekend. She is already 8 weeks old. I was pretty impressed with my self portrait skills in this shot!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day. I hope everyone had as lovely a Mother's Day as I did!! What made my first Mother's day so special is that Sawyer was dedicated at church. Praise the Lord for my family and my beautiful baby boy, may we follow Him all the days of our life!

Here we are on stage at our church, Pacific Coast Church, with Pastor Mark. I was a little nervous about how Sawyer was going to do, but he was a champ!

After church both sets of Grandparents came with us to a park in Talega. It was a beautiful day with a wonderful family!

Here Daddy was tempting Sawyer with this huge cupcake (which we split between 6 people!). After this picture was taken Dad removed the cupcake, and Sawyer was crushed! He put his head down in the blanket, and let out the most pitiful cry! (I may have shared a bit with the :)

Yesterday Sawyer decided to climb up on to Abby's bed and play with her toys. I found it to be very entertaining!!

Swimmer Bee

Sawyer and I went to the pool this week, and I put him in a bee towel. It was a shower gift, and unfortunately I don't remember who it was from. Sawyer was so cute I had to take a few pictures.

Sawyer's Shorts

I finally made something for Sawyer! Inspired for summer, I made him some summer shorts! I used the pattern out of Amy Butler's book "Little Stitches for Little Ones." They were easy and fun to make, and I happened to have all the materials on hand - which helps. It took me less than two hours from start to finish - including multiple breaks to stop and play with the Little Buddy!

Well I have been wanting to start this blog since I gave birth to my sweet boy in July. I am a full time Mom, and I am loving every second of it!! This blog is to record our adventures of course!! Things we do, cook, make, places we go, and people we meet!!
